What is Medical Qigong?
Medical Qigong can be translated as breathing exercises or the workings of the breath. Vital life-force energy resides in the breath; therefore breathing, movement and guidance by the mind can direct and circulate energy through the body and beyond.
Sometimes Qigong is translated as energy work - “Qi” meaning life force energy, and “gong” meaning acquired skill. Qigong dates back thousands of years (5000), even before acupuncture. It is believed that Qigong is the basis for modern traditional Chinese medicine, and can be a way to regain our health and prevent illness.
What does a Medical Qigong session consist of?
During a typical session with Justin, many different techniques may be used. Justin first prepares himself and the room energetically. By centering himself, connecting, and setting his ego aside, this allows a strong connection and free flowing divine energy.
Some things that may be experienced are:
- Energy channels being dredged, sick Qi removed, energy centers tonified
- Organ energy refreshed and elemental colors toned.
- Possible prescriptive Qigong exercises to correlate with current energetic conditions within us (balancing emotions and energies).
- Reduces or eliminates pain
- Boosting recovering from injury
- Facilitates energy flow in areas where we are holding onto emotions or mental constructs.
Justin uses intuitive information, gained through energetic connection, to give light to situations or emotional/mental patterns involved in the client’s well being. In essence, Medical Qigong and energy work can help increase our self-awareness (inner garden), mental, physical, and spiritual well being.
